Delray Beach, Fla. - President Bush today signed legislation authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to mint an American Veterans Disabled for Life Commemorative Coin in 2010. The bill unanimously passed the House and Senate last month....

The Congressional chartered foundation controlled by Mrs. Lois Pope and Arthur Wilson maybe tarnished by financial mismanagement to the deterrent of the Memorial project. The foundation ranks poorly with Veteran Watch Groups and online Charity rating sites. The foundation is spending close to 90% of all donations received on administration and fundraising activities. Tax returns indicate the Foundation spending in excess of $0.90 of each dollar for activities other than for intended purpose of building the Disabled Veterans Memorial.

We don't want the "US Tax Payer" paying again for Congressional oversight. We don’t want a “Memorial Bailout” at tax payer expense.

Please request a special audit of the millions of dollars this Foundation has claimed it raised and spent. They claim on their website www.avdlm.org to be chartered by Congress therefore they should have no objection to permit an audit.

Please do not permit any “Foundation Operator” to profiteer off the "Veteran and Veteran Disabled Community". (see) www.wheresthemoneylois.com Please look at the public information on the site provided.
